Tanners 4-5 Month Pictures

We went and got Tanner's 4... almost 5 month pictures taken. They turned out so cute!!!
I could not believe how smiley he was!
I brought his owl hat just incase he was being good, I had planned to strip him down and snap a picture with his hat to put in a frame in his owl room. Brett thought I was crazy.
I'm not crazy... they turned out so darling, I couldn't get enough of his expressions in all of these pictures!!! He was such a "hoot!" He was so happy and didn't mind being posed... what can I say, that's a great trait all my kids have possessed. I'm so thankful they all smile and act well behaved at picture time. My sister, Liz tells me it's not fair.

Daxton's 3 Year Old Pictures!!

So truthfully, we were a couple months late getting Daxton's pictures taken, but we finally did it and they turned out darling! I got him dressed that morning and postponed his pictures twice thanks to a huge rain storm. It was the first time in at least a decade that it rained and froze to the rode as soon as it hit the ground. The roads were a mess and people had a hard time driving. I'm surprised I even drove to take his pictures later in the day!
As we were waiting to leave he was so cautious about his "outfit." He couldn't get it dirty and he was very concerned about his hair! He's such a character. Just like Isaac he posed perfectly! Anything the lady asked him to do, he did it! He was thrilled that she had a train for him to play with.
She got a close up of his long lushes eye lashes. Seriously, it's not fair that these boys get these long eye lashes! I know the ladies will love them though when he's older.
These are some pictures I didn't get, but they were so darling I put a collage together of them off their website. I loved the one of him grabbing my arm.
His face is too cute for words, isn't it?

My Boys Photoshoot!!! 2012

I borrowed my friend Tania's camera to take some photo's of my kids. I originally was trying to get pictures of them for a suprise for Brett. I had good intentions of recoloring them for Christmas and making this square wall hanging. I was over budget and this little project got put on hold. Maybe one day! Anyways, I still love the way the pictures turned out, so of course I had to blog about it!!! Enjoy them. I have. I took about a bazillion pictures but these are some of my favorites. These boys really know how to shine when the camera is on. They are silly, funny, and just darling.
Tanner was really not sure about the photo shoot. It was bright outside. And he had his first encounter with grass. I'm surprised he didn't cry. I don't think he loved it, but he was a good sport!
I love the three boys together. They are just so silly. I'm lucky to have them. As crazy as these 3 little boys make me, I'm so dang lucky to have them. I'm honored to be their mamma!
Have you ever tried taking a picture of a dog? It's hard. Not gonna lie! But I got a couple good ones.
It was pretty fun chasing after these kiddos snapping pictures all around the yard. I'm sure it provided great entertainment for whatever neighbors happened to be watching!

Tanner's PhotoShoot

My neighbor, Jamie Bria started photography a year ago. She took these darling pictures of Tanner for me when he was 11 days old. I can't thank her enough. I'm so in love with them all. I couldn't choose just one to put on my blog, so you get to see a lot of them.

It was a home photo shoot, lots of blankets, backdrops and lights, 4 hours later, a lot of cuddling, rocking, white noise machine, binki, props, heating pads, heat warmer, refolding a pretty white blanket from a poopy accident (what do you expect with a newborn?!), we finally got these darling photos!!! What we mother's put our children through for a cute photo.... but I'm glad we did!
Enjoy!!!

The little brown football hat and the blue BYU hat was crocheted by Nancy's friend Janice. It was so nice of her to make them and I was so in love with them, I had to use them! They were perfect.

I was searching high and low for a big truck and wah-la! Liz had one!!!

Surprisingly, Tanner stayed like this! Usually you have to do a lot of photo-shopping to get pictures with their cheeks on their little hands, but he did pretty good staying in position.

I wanted a picture of Nancy's quilt that she made for Tanner. I thought it turned out so cute.

I love these little feet!
I have a hard time taking pictures of myself after having a baby. But I was okay with this one. I just love this little man. So glad he's apart of my life!!!

Daxton's 2 Year Pictures

Way back in November was Daxton's birthday. I had every intention of taking him into get his pictures taken. Then came December, which was a crazy month. So of course I would go in January! Who knew I was going to be so sick? Then came February... where our house got sick for a good long while cause we passed the germs round and round. So March came and my goodness! I was not going to prolong these pictures anymore! We had bought a new outfit a month prior. Funny thing, he was really opinionated about it. He didn't like the shirt and refused to wear it when I brought it home. (Even though he liked it in the store.) A few weeks later, he loved it again! So without further ado, Daxton's 2 year pictures...(plus 4 months!)
Dax gravitated twords the sport theme when we got there... just like Isaac did at this age! He was in love with the bat and balls. He was so good for me all morning saying, "I go get my pictures!" I thought he would be shy... and he does pretend smiles for me so I wasn't sure how it was going to go. But Dax sat right down and posed liked he had been doing it all of his life!
And you really couldn't ask for a cuter picture then these? Am I right?!
He was in heaven. He loved all the attention on him. I didn't even practice poses with him! (Yes, I did that with Isaac... and he was good at it!) But Dax was perfect. He did everything she asked of him.
I requested this picture of his eyelashes. I really can't get enough of his darling eyes! I just think they are so pretty!! Just like his daddy! (I love my boys got that from him!)
I didn't end up buying this "I am 2" picture, but I thought it was cute of him so I wanted to post it. Glad we have these darling little pictures for our memory books!

The "Yellow" Family Pictures

We had to take extended family pictures and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to snap of few of my family. My SIL, Shaylah brought her fancy camera and so kindly took some pictures.
Dax was a bit of squirrel, but we managed to get a few in the wind all looking decent!
 I like this one!
Isaac is perfect for every picture he takes. Always smiling. Always happy!
My brother Cord always told me I took a lot of pictures of him because he could smile on demand when a camera was pulled out. Truth be told, Isaac is like me. He is a cheese ball and smiles for the camera. Ask my sister Liz, growing up (and still to this day) I tend to jump in all the pictures!
All these pictures of Isaac turned out so handsome.

Dax was going for the angelic look. For the 3 seconds he held still Shay got some great pictures of him.

He wouldn't look at her, but these ones of him look so sweet. I love them.
I am excited to add some yellow to my house and these pictures are perfect!
Isaac was rewarded with rolling down the hill for a job well done!

A week later I was wondering if I could get a few more pictures out of Dax, preferably with a big smile looking at the camera. I borrowed my friends nice camera and attempted to be a photographer. (Which you can tell by the pictures, I am not!) Dax was 19 months and I really wanted some pictures of him, so I tried anyways.

This picture I have 100 of. Why? See, Dax is like Brett. He can only deal with the camera for a second and then it turns into something annoying and he refuses to smile or look at the camera.
I popped Isaac in the picture hoping to get a cute brother picture but again, Dax didn't care nor did he want to be bothered.

My sweet friend Darci came out (since I was using the outside of her house as a backdrop) and she literally threw her 2 year old in Daxton's face. It made him giggle.
It was working, so we wore out Darci and she continued to throw her son at mine. Too bad I wasn't paying attention to shadows. But we got a small smile out of him. But that's all I was going to get, so I knew I had to give up.
I did get this one of the boys together. I thought it was sweet.
And I got another cute one of Dax not looking.

So I'm guessing this will be life when taking pictures. If you didn't catch it, here's the re-cap:
 Isaac
And Daxy.
Their personalities definitely shine through!
