More Christmas Parties!! December is always filled with them...
Here's a peek at our other Christmas Parties!
Here are their beautiful creations!
Nancy always plans games for the kids. This year we played with the adults too. We all brought little gifts and played a dice game to choose our present. I got pencils and traded with Isaac for his chocolate pretzels. I can't remember what Brett got, but Dax was thrilled with his. He wasn't sharing or showing anyone in fear they would take it. He got Gatorade and candy corn!! He was in heaven. We put on our little play. We kept Baby Jesus (played by Tanner) sleeping happily in his carseat, even though Mary wanted to hold him. We kept her busy with the darling star! (played by Jasmine.) The kids ended the night with a little program. My boys sang, Emilee's kids played the piano. We traded gifts later when Brandon and Shaylah came to visit.
Aunty Claus!
It's always fun with Leesha comes to visit! She brings the boys all of us some very fun books! She's so sweet to my boys. She also gave me a sweets jar!!! It's so fun to have out and put little goodies in.
Grandma Mona
We had a get together for Nancy's side of the family at a church in Mona. The tables were decorated with pringles cans that Peggy had made into decorations. Some looked like Nutcrackers, snowmen, Santa, and reindeer... but Daxton's favorite was a train! There was one train and he wanted it so bad. You had to play Bingo to win. Well, Uncle Allen won first and took the train! I thought it was to be mean and Dax was pretty sad, but eventually he was nice and gave it to Daxton. Dax spent most of the time driving this train on the floor. The kids also made Gingerbread Men place mats out of puffy stickers. It was a cute activity for them. Grandma passed out little gifts to all the kids. Dax got bubble bath and a soap scrubby and Isaac got a scarf/hat... it's pretty cool, it keeps him warm in the snow!
Grandma Linda's Party!!
And the Ottley party at my mom's house is always a treat! So many kids now... it's so loud! We ate dinner... Cafe Rio style salads were delicious! We popped these little poppers on the table... they always have a paper crown inside and some random toy. The kids think it's fun.
We did our Nativity play... which let's be honest, it's always a hoot!
The kids this year wanted to all be animals. We were begging them to
please be people so we could put on the play! Cayden was the star...
literally. He was in the star costume and he was funny!! The kids put on a program and my boys sang.
We traded presents. Isaac got a giant sword... and I mean GIANT! It can be two swords or one big one. And Dax got legos. They are big and chunky and oh so fun to play with!
