Swimming Lesson #5, Visitors Day!

The other day was visitor's day at the pool. Brett wasn't able to make it so his dad, LaMonte came in his place. Isaac was excited to see grandpa at the pool.  We showed grandpa all of Isaac's tricks: blowing bubbles, ice cream scooped arms, floating, and kicking.

We also worked on passing Isaac between us. He really hates being turned outward, away from me... so this was not his favorite thing. But with a little push he would half heartily glide between LaMonte and I! He loved going around the lazy river, as usual and showing off his toys and how he loves to jump!
Not only did we have LaMonte with us, but Isaac had a whole clan that came and watched him swim! Grandma Nancy, Emilee and her 3 kids, and Shaylah and Breah (they were in town!!) were all there watching! This was fun for him to see so many people! Even thought the next day at swimming he wanted to know where they all went... especially grandpa! "Where did my grandpa go" he kept asking. Thanks for coming grandpa! It was a fun day! We had a big cousin day planned for later that day... we were going to the farm!

Our new skill we worked on for just a minute was crawling on the wall. Isaac learned to grab onto the wall and crawl along it. Then he learned to grab on to the side and climb out by himself. It looked a little tough, but he's quite the monkey! He even grabbed onto the side of the wall in the lazy river. This was surprising to me since it runs so fast! After they learned to climb out of the pool they had to jump back into the pool... not a problem for Isaac! This has been his favorite thing to do since day one! He was totally fine with jumping in over and over again!
