Halloween was so much fun this year. Isaac chose to be Optimus Prime (who looks a lot like Iron Man from last year... just in different colors. I think the Halloween costume designers should branch out a bit with the boy costumes!) But it makes for an easy, warm costume! Dax was a puppy. (Actually a bull dog) but the cutest bull dog you have ever seen! He loved his costume and didn't mind wearing it. I loved that you could take off the warm jacket and attached hat and he could just be in cozy bottoms and a shirt. Best costume ever!
What Daxton did mind was having his picture taken...again! I should have just stuck with the first photo cause he laid down and refused to sit up again. He was a sad puppy. (Funny thing... he did this same thing at my family's Halloween photo op!)Grandma Nancy dressed up as her classic witch and Grandpa was a BYU fan. (That also might have been cause a game was on that day!!)
Grandma Nancy always plans fun activities for the kids. They had so much fun making Halloween place mats!!!
Dax loved his too!
They played a fun "find the bone" game. They had to look all over the house finding clues and putting together this skeleton man. They had a blast!Grandma gave the kids Halloween goodie bags. Isaac loved his flashing bracelet.
Dax loved his Mickey book and especially his Halloween cup! (They used them all clear until Christmas and they are still two of their favorite cups!)The kids made a Halloween magnet and then made owl smores for a treat. They looked so cute. Dax didn't care about that, he heard the words "candy and chocolate" and immediately started eating! I couldn't cut his owl wings cut (half of a Reese's pb cup) before he had taken a bite from another one!
It was a fun party!! On our way we had watched a terrible accident... which could have been us if Brett hadn't been on his toes driving. The whole time watching my boys at this party, I was just so thankful we had a little guardian angel watching over us.
