Christmas Day! 2010

After the craziness of Christmas morning, we got ready and went to Brett's parents house for dinner. We have done it every year and I think it is so much fun! Nancy made Lasagna, which was delicious. Luis was there and Daxton really liked him because he let him play on his computer! (Something I never let him do!)
We then went over to my moms house to see their Christmas.  Isaac got something small and something big from my parents... he was thrilled about both!
A tiny, tiny Ipod shuffle! He loves music!!!! This shuffle is so cool cause now you can categorize your things. So he can hear music, or there are tons of books on CD's stored on there so he can listen to them. The music was already loaded and ready to go. He bopped around the house the rest of the night singing his tunes! So darling! There is a lot of kid music on there, but we did add some "mom" music. Isaac loves Carrie Underwood and some other Jazzy tunes like: In My Head by Jason Derulo, Dynamite by Tail Cruz and Forever by Chris Brown. It makes me laugh to hear him going around singing these songs! Of course Grandma Linda got BLUE his favorite color and she engraved the back to say, "Isaac's Looney Tunes!"
Isaac's BIG gift was a giant stuffed dog. Isaac has had my big bear from when I was a kid on his bead forever cause he loves sleeping on big animals. The dogs original name happened to be Rosco. Since we already had a Rosco, he changed his name to Oreo!!! (A tan dog named Oreo! Go figure.)
Daxton LOVED his present from my parents. They gave him a Mickey Mouse couch, complete with a fuzzy Mickey Mouse pillow and blanket. He still adores Mickey, so this was gold to him!! Plus he loves sitting on things just his size.
He thought the pillow was so fun. He would stuff his face into it and snuggle it and then pop back up. It made us laugh pretty hard.
Daxton has a fetish with "B's" as he calls them... blankets! Warm, fuzzy blankets! He can't get enough of them. He snuggles right up to them. He also loves to suck on them... I'm not sure why though.
He was so in love with this couch! I loved watching him play on it, it was too cute. It came at the perfect time too, little did we know Dax was going to be sick most of January!
My parents got me a steamer! It's a two in one, steams the floors and then it detaches and it turns into a portable steamer for around the house... my most important item to steam is the bathroom! Little boys and bathrooms are just gross! So yeah for a steamer!
Brett got Apple TV. Which was very exciting. The one downfall for us, is we still want to keep the sports channels and a few others, so it made more sense to return it instead of paying a lot more to keep it. Instead he got a Kindle... which he loves and uses it daily! I have to admit, the kindle is really cool. You can keep so many books on it! And it's so light.
And here's Daxton again. This is how he was the rest of the night. Playing on his Mickey Mouse couch. He started playing peek-a-boo with his blanket. He was having so much fun! I have never heard him giggle so hard! See his big old teeth in front! I love them. When he smiles you can't help but smile back at his big teeth!
