The week of Christmas we got together with Brett's family for our family Christmas party. We made gingerbread houses again and the kids had a ball decorating them.

Isaac especially loved squirting icing all over his house and placing gummy bears all around to protect his house.

Squiggle, Breah, Lulu, Isaac, and Dallin
We then played "Don't Eat Christmas" and reenacted the Nativity. Isaac had told me he wanted to be a donkey, so I made a cute donkey mask for him. Right before the party he changed his mind and informed me he wanted to play the part of the wise man again. So much for my cute mask.

We had present time, which always thrills the kids. Grandma and Grandpa D. gave Isaac a bulldozer. He was so excited, he couldn't take his eyes off of it! He also got a memory game from Breah. It wasn't just any memory, it was the Toy Story edition. He loves playing it.

Grandma made Dax a fuzzy blanket and gave him a darling outfit. Emilee gave him a set of balls that stack inside of each other. We've already gotten a lot of use out of it. Isaac likes to show Dax how the baseball plays music when you shake it.

Brett was thrilled to get a new razor from his parents and a dog ball thrower from his sister. Nancy surprised me with a memory foam pillow, which I love! And fun cooking gadgets... one being the perfect size of bread pans!

It's so fun being together with everyone, laughing and talking. But my favorite part of the night is when Nancy gave Brandon a present from Santa that was a little late.... Teddy Ruxpin. He wanted one as a child and didn't get it. We laughed so hard we had tears in our eyes! I loved Teddy Ruxpin. It brings back great childhood memories for me. Nothing better then a creepy bear that tells stories... I loved him then. But when I look back on how he talked, he was a little scary!
