On the Farm at Thanksgiving Point!

As Summer came to a close, we took our annual trip with our cousins to the Country Farm. It's fun to look back at pictures and see how Isaac has grown up from year to year. 

This year he knew he wanted to feed the animals. We made sure to bring plenty of quarters so he had enough corn to give them. He liked feeding the goats, even though one of them bit him. He had to learn to hold his hand open instead of feeding them his little fingers along with the corn. 

He would also yell at the goats because several of them were rude and did not take turns. They would start to head butt each other over who got the corn and Isaac would shout at them, "Hey you goats! You be nice! Your suppose to share!"

The cow was slobbery and ate everything Isaac put in-front of him!

It was so packed at the farm but Isaac had his heart set on riding a horse. After waiting for over an hour, Emilee convinced her kids that going to Sonic would be a little more fun. And lucky for her, they left. Not Isaac, my son was determined to stand in line in the hot sun until it was his turn to ride a pony. So another 40 minutes of patiently waiting went by and it was FINALLY his turn. Isaac told me he was going to choose the biggest horse to ride, but when he walked in he saw his old friend, Chief. This is the 3rd year in a row Isaac has chosen to ride this little pony. He must really love him. Even though it was a long wait, it was worth it to see how happy he was.

We stand on the scale every year to see how much Isaac has grown. He is no longer the equivalent of 5 baby lambs, he is now a baby goat. Good thing I'm not relying on this scale to tell me how much her REALLY weighs! 

It was a long, hot day but he enjoyed it. He even thought milking a fake cow was pretty cool. So until next time, goodbye country farm!
