Cousinly Day of Fun!

Isaac's cousin, Zander came to "play for the day" a couple of weeks ago. These boys are so silly when they get together, but they have a good time. We spent a lot of our time out in the snow.

Zander and Isaac

We made Frosty #2! We used olives this time for his eyes, mouth, and buttons. Zander didn't mind... it meant a little outside snack for him!

We went for a sleigh ride. It was short, the snow was hard and the boys are heavy!

And of course, playing in the snow wouldn't be complete without eating it. I tried to tell them not to, (sorry rach) but they follow each others lead. They do everything the other one does.

What amazes me most is how boys automatically know how to be boys. They know how to be dangerous, how to gross me out (like drinking each others bath water- yuck!), fly around the house making fighting noises, they play "good cop, bad cop" and they know it's better to be the good cop... so they play fight about it. Which brings me to the next amazing thing about boys, even though they are 2 and 4, they already know how to put each other in headlocks and wrestle but still having a good time. Brett says this is normal. This is interesting to me because I grew up with girls. (And Cord, but he didn't wrestle us... he mostly just teased us. I say this next part at the risk of him killing me but it makes me laugh to remember it. He did things like having me put my head inside his drum set while he "tested" it out. Or how he stuck me inside the dog house with the dog and shut the lid, and I can't forget him trapping, sitting, and "tooting" on us girls when we went down the steps... oh, good times, but that's for another day!) Anyways, Isaac always loves a cousin day! He loves playing with friends. Thanks Zan, come play again!
