Before Christmas we got together with my side of the family for our annual Ottley Family Christmas Party! We had a little performance by anyone who wanted to perform, (mostly the grandchildren) - singing songs and playing the piano. Aleesha showed us a new book - she's great at introducing us to the latest Christmas book of the year! I can't remember the title, but it was a book of funny songs sung to Christmas tunes. We played "Don't Eat Christmas", had dinner... yummy soups in bread bowls! Then we opened presents. Kenzi had me this year and she got me the new Taylor Swift CD!!! Janine and Cord had Brett and Isaac. Brett got little tool gadgets, and Isaac got a Handy Mandy TV to fix. All the little boys thought it was so fun to take it apart and "fix it." Isaac and my nephews, Cayden and Zander are like peas in a pod when they get together. Cayden loves being around little boys (because he has all sisters) so he is so sweet to play with them every second they are together! They follow Cayden around like two little puppy dogs! My parents got all the grandkids these little remote control cars that zip all over the place, they were a big hit! We did manage to get a family picture but I don't have it yet... when I do, I'll add it!

Ottley Family Christmas!
Before Christmas we got together with my side of the family for our annual Ottley Family Christmas Party! We had a little performance by anyone who wanted to perform, (mostly the grandchildren) - singing songs and playing the piano. Aleesha showed us a new book - she's great at introducing us to the latest Christmas book of the year! I can't remember the title, but it was a book of funny songs sung to Christmas tunes. It's all about the perfection...you realize you're never getting that picture of the family until it's perfectly color balanced and everything right? You're going to have to hunt Cordy down to get it! Good luck with that! xoxo
