Waiting the Arrival...

This week has been so busy for me I'm just getting back to posting about Brett's parents coming home. We got to the airport an hour early... we left early trying to beat the traffic (I think we managed to fly past it all since most people were at parades) so we kept Isaac entertained by riding up and down the escalator. He told me they were "fun slide stairs!"

This is Isaac's little sign he help up for grandma and grandpa when they were walking (and running) towards us.  He's been practicing for over a month! Anyone who would come over he would show him his sign and hold it way up high for them.

This is a picture of all of the grandkids waiting in their 4th of July attire for grandma and grandpa. The 3 youngest were born while they were away. There was lot's to do between escalator rides, pictures, people, flags, signs, and balloons. (And yes, this is where the famous blue balloon came from that flew away... thanks em!)

Nancy wanted to make sure she was well prepared for her grandchildren. Like any good grandma would do she had a bag of treats to bribe them with. A red heart sucker was given to Isaac and he was THRILLED! So thrilled, when he finished it he wasn't shy about asking for a second one. :) (hmm, can we assume he likes sweets?!)

This is by far my favorite picture of the day. There isn't much to say but... priceless!
