Babes in Toyland!!! Christmas 2012

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their bed, while visions of trains and other toys danced in their heads....

Brett's always worried I'll wake the boys when I snap a picture of them sleeping. But I can't help it. I love watching them sleep and I love capturing them in their Christmas jammies! Brett and I both get so excited for the kids to wake up and see what Santa brought. Brett is worse then me. He talks a big game, but he is such a big kid! He can't ever sleep!!
I snuck out early to snap a picture of what Santa brought... looks like it will be a fun Christmas! Can you believe how many stockings we have!!!? That is just crazy! I never imagined having so many little stocking hanging at my house.
Boys + Toys = Joy!!!
Dax walked out and found a big Geo Track!!! He was so excited! He is train crazy. He didn't care about opening anything else. He got what he wanted... a train! It was a pretty awesome one if I do say so myself. It had a mountain (which Dax had told me months in advance he wanted a train with a mountain!) that you could put box in and it tumbled down the mountain and popped out. It had a wind-meal that the train would stop on and make it spin. It had a factory that would move when the train ran over it. There was a big water pump that twirled blue when it was filling up with water... and my favorite, the clock tower. When the train went under it would light up and play music or chime. It's so darling!
Isaac got a surprise he didn't tell Santa about until the very end of the month... a motor scooter! I'm not sure what Santa was thinking!? Doesn't he know those things are fast and he gave my 6 year old one?! Santa must be loosing his mind. But Isaac was thrilled!
The boys painted me new pictures to hand on my wall. Isaac made a castle that had so much detail! It said, I (heart) you mom! It had a sunshine, flags, and flowers. Dax painted me a picture of a train! It had a lot of tracks... it looks like it was a fast train! My boys are so talented. I love their little pictures.
The boys gave Brett golf balls and tees. Brett also got a phone holder for his car. His biggest gift Santa brought were boots!!! That's right, cowboy boots! Sadly, they were a little snug, but he found some that he likes and wears. He wasn't expecting boots, so it was a good surprise!
Brett gave Isaac a colorful basketball and Dax a blue football. Balls are a big deal at our house filled with boys!
Tanner got a little toy to hang on his car seat. It lights up and sings.
Dax got an ABC leap frog singer. In hopes it will help him learn his letters and numbers.
Isaac got a disgusting Dr. Dreadful Alien Autopsy kit, but it was on the top of his list! Now we can make alien guts if anyone is interested!!!
Oh and you can eat the guts too! They are suppose to taste like cookies and cream...they don't.
Dax got his first Wii game. My kids don't play a lot of Wii games, but Santa did bring Diego's dinosaur rescue game, which Dax got really good at. And Wii Sports. That's a fun one when it's cold outside and my boys have a lot of energy!
Tanner was pretty chill through Christmas... and actually went back to sleep through a lot of it. But he still had a good Christmas.
He got a coat for next year and the boys helped him open his other little gifts. He got a little music player, when you hit the buttons, it sings. It's so cute.
Brett gave me a darling necklace that I have worn almost everyday. It is so precious and I get so many compliments on it. It's from the Vintage Pearl. It's a silver plate that has my 3 boys names written on it... in the cutest font. And then in the middle their are two charms, a heart and a pearl. I love it! Brett did good, it's so cute!
Each boy got a crafty item. Dax got an aquadoodle. It's easy for him to get out, draw on... and soak. Isaac got a spray painting kit using markers. It's so cool! You pump it and then the color get sprayed out through the markers. It's seriously fun! It has stencils so he can make fire and rockets and all kinds of cool pictures. He uses it a lot.
We took a tiny break and went outside to try out Isaac's scooter while Grandma and Grandpa were here to visit. Despite all the snow, it was pretty warm and melted the sidewalks enough he could cruise. He's really gotten the hang out it. Brett has plans to teach Rosco to chase after Isaac on it in the Summer.
Dax found his rake he lost in the snow! He was pretty thrilled.
When we came back in, Tanner was ready to open another present... a penguin mirror to play with in his crib. Doesn't he look ecstatic?!
Isaac got a little present... an ipod touch. Now he can see his screen, listen to music, and play a few games. He was pretty thrilled and surprised.
The boys had lot's of little nick-nacks in their stockings... like toothbrushes, tiny toys, and treats.
After we got ready we went and had lunch at:
Grandma Nancy's and Grandpa LaMontes House.
We ate our traditional lasagna. I love that.
Then the kids opened their presents from Grandma and Grandpa.
Dax was so excited.... he got a firetruck!!!
Isaac got some K'nex. They are cool, they are like legos, but they bend and you can make them motorized. He's made some cool things with them.
Nancy gave Tanner an outfit and made him this darling monkey towel!!!! It's so cute!
The kids traded presents and I loved that Tanner kept hold of his worm he got.
Emilee and Rob gave us a cooler jug! I'm so excited!! This will be so great in the Summertime. You never realize how many little things you have to accumulate in your own household! Speaking of which, Nancy and LaMonte gave us a folding 6 ft table and 4 folding chairs!! So great!
After all the presents were open, Dax enjoyed playing in the box and brown paper that our cooler came in. Go figure.
Here's cute Jasmine and Tanner in their holiday attire! I think Tanner is getting sick of me propping him up for all these pictures!
After Nancy's house, we moved to our last destination...
Grandma Linda's & Grandpa Dales House!
Dax had to get back in his Superman pajamas... he loves them.  He was thrilled to see a giant box with his name on it.
And even more thrilled to find out that Grandma and Grandpa gave him the Jake and the Never land pirate boat! Complete with the tiny Captain Hook Boat! He's had his eye on it for quite sometime. In his stocking he actually got Jake's friends. Now they have somewhere to play! Here's a little peak of them playing with this cute boat later...

Isaac was equally thrilled with his box...
Grandma and Grandpa gave him a remote control helicopter!!! It has blinking lights, it goes up and down and all around. It's pretty fun! I'm surprised at how coordinated he is flying it. It's not as easy as it looks.
Tanner was given the coveted giraffe... Sophie the Giraffe. Shes a ridiculous expensive squeaky toy, but my son loves her. Shes soft, great to chew on and squeaks in so many places! Rachel got my mom all crazy about her.
We gave my dad a shirt. He's shrunk and really needed clothes!
My parents gave Brett a fancy smancy watch! He was really scared to find out what was inside a super pimped out yellow box... Mr. T jewelry maybe?! Haha. He was thrilled with what was inside.
And what did my wondering eyes did appear???
A sewing machine with more then 8 gears! Ok, that was a bad play on 8 tiny reindeer, but seriously this sewing matching can do so many stitches... now to learn to use it....
Tanner and Kazden in their cute match pajamas.... Kaz always holds Tanner's hand!
Acacia got a Kindle Fire and she kept the boys very entertained as the night was winding down. It was such a fun Christmas. Fun to reflect on our Savior, fun to be with family, fun to play in the snow, and fun to eat way to much junk food all month long. Until next year...
