More Summer Fun of 2012

So once upon a time, my fun sister Liz bought this stuff called, "squishy baff." She wanted all the cousins to enjoy in the fun! She packed up her kids and came to my house where we got out the pool and made "squishy baff."
What is squishy baff you ask? Well think of when a child wearing a diaper jumps in water. And the diaper gets so big the beads start coming out and they stick to everything... they are jelly, gooey, not something I ever thought... he that would be fun to play in! But alas, there is such a  product on the market and it's called, Squishy Baff. It comes in colors and ours was blue.
The kids were thrilled with it. It was slimy and gooey.
They dumped it all over each other.
Dax didn't so much want to play in it but he loved dumping it on people!
We got cups for them to play with. It looked like they were swimming in slushies. You dissolved it by adding salt... a lot of salt. It was a very interesting "baff" not one I will be having my kids take again any time soon! But hey, that's what fun Aunt Lizzy's are for!!!
On another day when we weren't bathing our kids in blue goo, we went to 2 dollar Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point.
Dax had never been, but he loved the bear cave and the feet prints on the ground.
They added a few new things, like these little centers for kids to play in. One was a building center. Dallin was super strong and could pick up a giant tire.
And then there was Isaac who could lift a whole log over his head!!!!! Impressive!!!
Dax enjoyed playing some music for others to enjoy.
We rolled down the hill and saw the waterfalls.
Isaac was a big tease and kept telling Dax he was going to jump in. Which scared poor Dax and he would scream and cry in fear of loosing his brother. That's real love folks!
They had a time slot to play at the Noah's Ark Water place. Isaac was his classic self... I should really post more of his crazy faces!
He took a shower from a lama.
While Daxton was busy kissing a statue rhino. My boys. They are too funny.
The rest of our Summer has been normal family fun things. Brett gets to mow the law a couple times a week because he grass grows like a weed. And he's such a trooper to always allow Daxton to come along for ride. Literally. Dax is always sitting on his shoulders. I don't know how he does it!
Isaac, my monkey has learned to climb up the lamp post outside of our house. We are so proud.
Daxton loves being a dog. He barks, a lot. He licks. He likes to live in his doghouse AKA his pop up tent. And recently he had me give him dog food to eat. Again, such proud parents are we!
Life is busy and tiring in the Summer. One night we found Dax fast asleep in the middle of the floor.
The boys have bunk beds and when they are not busy trying to sleep in the same bed and bug each other all night, they have little sleepovers on the floor of their room on their couch. How I love these boys and have enjoyed the Summer days. Things are going to change as Isaac enters 1st grade, we are back on a schedule, and have a new baby in the house. But I have enjoyed this Summer and really enjoyed my boys.
